Have You Seen Your Legion Family at the VA Clinic in Oceanside?

Everywhere you look in the Oceanside VA Clinic you should see a member of the American Legion Family working side by side to better serve the veterans. The clinic opened in May 2010 and the Legion FAMILY began volunteering in July 2011. To date we have volunteered 19,367 hours equaling $445,429 of FREE LABOR. Congratulations to our 2018 Essay Winners:
Olivia Jiles from Escondido Christian took 1st place in the 8th-grade division and Esme Folia from Valley Christian School in San Marcos took 1st place in the 4th-grade division. Our 2nd Place Winners for 2018 were 8th grader Anna Vejtas and 4th grader Alek Izmitlian.

Each 1st place winner received a $50.00 gift card and each 2nd place winner received a $25.00 gift card. Additionally, they received certificates from the auxiliary.
